Registration for St. James-Smithtown Little League’s Spring 2022 baseball and softball season opens this Friday, November 26^th

Registration Fees:

Tee Ball (ages 4-5) $ 120.00 (includes uniform)
Coach Pitch (ages 6-7) $ 170.00
8U (age 8) $ 185.00
Minor League (ages 9-10) $ 185.00
Major League (ages 11-12) $ 200.00

REGISTER BEFORE JANUARY 31 AND SAVE $10 ON LEAGUE FEES (discount reflected at checkout)

• All players will automatically be placed in the age-appropriate group
• Roster/coach requests are only accepted for tee ball, coach pitch, and 8U
• All requests should be made in the COMMENTS section of the registration form
• In order to help us accommodate requests, please make them as early as possible
• To ensure competitive balance, Minors and Majors rosters are created by blind draft. Unfortunately, we cannot honor requests for these age groups

If registration is done AFTER March 20, a $20 late penalty will be added.

What’s Included In Your Fee:

In addition to games and practices, your 2022 league fee includes:

• Opening Ceremonies

  The historic Opening Day parade will return for 2022, with a tentative date of April 9, 2022. All teams will march down Lake and Woodlawn Avenues to Gaynor Park, where opening ceremonies will take place on our iconic Field 3

• Playoffs
  The Minor and Major Leagues divisions will each have their own playoff tournament
  
  
• Championship Weekend
  Minor and Major League championship games will be held in June and will be accompanied by a picnic and festivities

Additionally, playing spring SJSLL is required to gain eligibility for our select teams:

• Players ages 9 through 12 are eligible to try out for Williamsport (LLWS) teams
• Players ages 8 through 12 are eligible to try out for Smithtown Bulls travel teams

Coaches:

As always, we are looking for enthusiastic volunteers to coach. If you’re interested in serving either as a head or assistant coach, please don’t hesitate to formally volunteer during sign up, particularly at the youngest levels.  The more coaches we have, the smaller we can make the rosters at these beginner levels. This allows kids to get more individualized attention, and create crisper, more learning-friendly on-field environment. All coaches submit to a routine background check.
