To All:

The Parks Department is solely responsible for maintaining the ballfields in the Town of Smithtown.

However:

In inclement weather conditions, no raking of dirt areas will be permitted.
No water should be pushed onto grass areas.
No dirt should be removed from playing surfaces.
No grass cutting or moving home plate, pitching rubbers or base anchors
If the field is too wet, games will be cancelled or postponed.
No hitting or throwing balls into fences will be permitted.
No Pets (Dogs) are allowed in any town park.

Organizations that do not abide by these basic rules may have their field permits revoked!

The cooperation of all will help the Parks Department maintain our fields so they are safe and playable.
