Rules:

• Coaches will pitch overhand on a knee from a rough distance of 20-30 feet

• Another coach/volunteer will act as the catcher. Have the coach that’s catching hold the balls, then “reload” the bucket when it is empty

•  The coach selected to pitch must have the ability to throw strikes. If necessary, the opposing coach can pitch

• No other volunteers are allowed around home plate other than the “catching” coach

• Players will be given 10-15 hittable pitches. After that, the batting tee MUST be utilized to put a ball in play. Do not exceed 15 pitches per batter

• All hitters will hit in an inning

• The half-inning ends when the last player from his/her team has finished their turn at bat

• Allow all players to circle bases to end the inning

• Helmets must be worn at bat and on the bases at all times

• League-approved safety balls only.
