St. James - Smithtown Little League
St. James-Smithtown Little League is celebrating our 69th year as a chartered Little League club serving the St. James, Smithtown, Nesconset, and Hauppauge communities.
Each year, more than 600 players ranging from ages 4-12 participate in our spring baseball and softball program, with another 300 players taking part in our fall season. New and returning players descend on our facilities to reunite with old friends, make new ones, and keep our many fields filled with the laughter and joy that surrounds one of our nation's favorite pastimes.
Our flagship baseball/softball complex is Gaynor Park, where we hold many of our annual events, including our annual Little League parade, Tournament tryouts and games, and our Championship Weekend that closes out each spring season. Additional field locations include the Veterans Memorial Park complex, Brady Park, Flynn Memorial Park, and several local Smithtown school fields. SJSLL enjoys a wonderful partnership with the Town of Smithtown Parks Department and School District Administrators to provide the best facilities for our club.
Our Little League is a not-for-profit, 501c3 club governed by Little League international by-laws executed by a Board of Directors. Our Board of Directors, managers, and coaches are all volunteers that donate time and expertise in various areas to make the baseball and softball experience the very best for the children in our community. We are proud of the tradition SJSLL continues each year and the positive impact it has on our community. We will work hard to make sure it endures well into the future.
SJSLL is chartered under Little League International of Williamsport, P.A. and is subject to all rules and regulations contained in their Official Rule Book.
